The SM100 Portable Olfactometer can conduct a complete odour analysis in full accordance with International Standard EN13725. The SM100 can analyze from a sample bag or be deployed in the field for direct olfactometry and ambient odour measurement.

Easy to Use
The SM100 Portable Olfactometer requires no sample bags, no filters to change, and no pumps or other moving parts to maintain.
Draws Sample
The SM100 draws a sample of ambient air via venturi pump and dilutes it using fresh odourless air from a compressed air tank.
Control the Ratio
The operator uses an adjustable sliding valve to control the ratio of fresh to ambient air, which is then fed through a sliding valve into the PTFE face mask.
Instant Results
The valve position indicator displays the sample strength (Dilution to Threshold or OU).

Problem: Residential complaints about odour
Solution: SM100 used to determine ambient odour levels and their sources
Once sources were located and measured, an Odour Assessment was created to indicate that the odour levels could be lowered with alternate operational changes and additional maintenance to existing Odour Suppression systems. Additionally, some sources of residential complaints were found to originated outside of the facility (adjacent farms).
