Group Threshold

Overview

The detection threshold for that group of assessors. It is influenced by each panellist in the group. Due to the requirement that each panellist must fit within the “norm” during the panel screening, it can be concluded that individually they will detect a sample odour relatively close to that of the other panel members. Collectively, their initial sense of the odour sample is known as the “Group Threshold”
